City of Cape Town Confident; No "Day Zero 2019"

The City of Cape Town is confident that there will be no prospect of reaching ‘Day Zero’ in 2019. With about 66.3% of current water storage in all of the city's major water supply systems, it can be safely said that Cape Town dams have escaped the "danger zone" - 65% capacity as the rainy season ends. This is the highest the dam levels have been at this time of year in two years.
